CIMA S.p.A of Montu Beccaria in Italy have appointed ArborAgri Ltd as their Distributor for the U.K.

CIMA are manufacturers of sprayers for orchards, vineyards and the soft fruit industry, including table top strawberries, and vineyard dusters. Founded in 1974 CIMA concentrate of the development and manufacture of 'low volume' sprayers. Considerable benefits can be gained by the use of the CIMA 'low volume' sprayers. The sprayers operate on the Venturi principle, generating very high speed air into which the chemical mix is introduced. The high speed air blasts the water droplets into much smaller particles, producing a mist which readily attaches to the leaves, much more efficiently than high volume. There is virtually no 'run off' ' great for the environment and coverage is outstanding. There is a saving of up to 75% of the water needed, so spraying is considerably faster as there are many less trips to fill up. As the pump that delivers the chemical mix to the sprayer units runs at between 20 and 40 psi there are no expensive high pressure pumps to maintain and no nozzles to wear out. Directional diffusers can deliver the chemical to exactly where it is needed. Spray head configurations are many and varied giving optimum performance in a very wide range of applications.
