Fruit Focus partners with Comexposium17-Feb-2017
Haymarket Media Group today announces that its Fruit Focus and Cereals exhibitions are to be run in a joint venture partnership with Comexposium, one of the world’s leading food and farming event organisers.
Comexposium runs Sitevi - one of the largest international events for the fruit, vegetable and viticulture industry - and Sitevinitech, two viticulture events that take place in China and Argentina. Sitevi takes place bi-annually in Montpellier, France with 1,000 exhibitors and 54,000 visitors.
The joint venture will leverage the strengths of the two market-leading agricultural exhibitions’ organisers – Haymarket in delivering outdoor events with practical hands-on features and Comexposium’s extensive international network and dedication to showcasing the latest technology and solutions for high performing, sustainable agriculture.
“This partnership demonstrates our commitment to the UK’s fruit industry,” says Fruit Focus Event Director, Jon Day. “With complementary expertise in the sector, Haymarket and Comexposium, will share resources to the benefit of Fruit Focus’ exhibitors and visitors.”
“Comexposium’s investment in Fruit Focus recognises the long-term growth potential of the event,” says Martine Degremont, Director of Comexposium’s Agriculture Business Unit. “Fruit Focus is the premiere technical event for the fruit industry in the UK, and like Sitevi, it is focused on highlighting the latest technologies and developments in sustainable crop production.
“This strong strategic partnership will advance the development of Fruit Focus and bring new benefits to its visitors and exhibitors.”
