In April 2018, Beekenkamp Verpakkingen has introduced a new one-metre strawberry substrate trough with a volume of around 15 litres as a successor to the existing 15-litre version.

Flexible plant density and competitive price per metre
The type 7415 15-litre strawberry substrate trough, measuring one metre in length, can be used in both gutters and on table-tops. This new substrate trough does have the same dimensions as the existing 15 litre trough, but can be produced more efficiently and for this reason it is even more competitively priced!' This strawberry-growing trough has also a very competitive price per metre while providing flexibility in planting density.

Sustainable reuse
Beekenkamp Verpakkingen (Packaging) develops sustainable reusable products. We choose materials that are easy to steam and clean, so our substrate troughs can be reused season after season without any problems. The substrate trough 15 litre is manufactured from PP and, under certain conditions, it can be steam cleaned for years.
