Car: East Malling Research Centre is near junctions 4 & 5 of the M20. Train: The nearest station is East Malling Station.

INTERNATIONAL VISITORS
Car Ferry: Nearest ports: Folkestone (15 miles) and Dover (23 miles)
Train: Ebbsfleet International Rail Station - Eurostar connection (18 miles), Channel Tunnel - Folkestone (12 miles)
Airports: Gatwick (61 miles) and Heathrow (83 miles)

CAR PARKING
Car parking is free. Please follow all road signs and the directions of the event marshalls. Special Assistance parking is available close to the entrance for visitors displaying the official blue disability badge.

A FREE Event Guide produced and distributed by Fresh Produce Journal and a copy will be available on arrival.

CASH POINTS
There are no cash points available on the event site.

CHILDREN
Fruit Focus is a trade event with lots of working machinery; children are therefore not encouraged to attend. They will not be refused entry but require their own ticket if over the age of 15.

ACCOMMODATION
There are a number of hotels, B&B's and guesthouses close to the Event. Please search any online booking agents using the event postcode: ME19 6BJ to find one nearby.

DOGS
Only assistance dogs will be permitted to the event.

BASIS and NRoSO

BASIS logoThis year you can earn up to 6 BASIS points at Fruit Focus 2017.  Two of the six points on offer can be obtained by heading to the BASIS stand, number 164, and presenting a BASIS membership card to a member of the team. Those without a card can fill in a form with their details. To find out more, click here.

 

NRoSO logoNRoSO will also be offering 6 points this year. 2 points can be earnt for attending Fruit Focus; visit their stand (no 166) to obtain these. A further 2 points will be awarded for attending one Vineyard research tour and the technical workshop “Controlling disease for yield and quality” which takes place at 10.30am and 1.30pm with Duncan McNeill.
