Botanicoir is positioned at the forefront of developments within the industry. We work alongside local agronomists and growers to develop products that provide the optimum substrate solutions for soft fruit crops grown in UK climate conditions and adapting to different growing systems. Through these partnerships we have developed our star product, Precision Plus Ultra (PPU), which offers exceptional drainage for precision growing. The most popular ways of using coir for soft strawberry crops is grow bags or naked slabs, or for blueberries, raspberries and blackberries, growers tend to favour Open Top Containers (OTCs) or naked blocks to fit in existing pots.

Our washing and buffering facilities are second to none, and our onsite laboratories mean that we can consistently test all stages of production from raw material through to the finished product. As all our products are made to order, we can monitor the individual requirements and ensure a product that meets grower expectations with regards to EC, pH and volume, among many other parameters.

Through extensive research with a team of German engineers, we are proud to be the first coir producer to have facilities to mechanically dry our material, without any detrimental effects to the particles. This helps us guarantee consistent supply throughout the year, regardless of changing and unpredictable weather patterns in Sri Lanka.
