Proseal’s extensive range of tray sealing machines, with throughputs from 6 to 300 packs per minute, have satisfied customers’ needs globally since it was founded in 1998.

Proseal UK was set up by directors Steve Malone and Robbie Hargreaves with an aim to become an innovative and pioneering organisation within the fast-paced food industry. Now, over 20 years later, the company has not only become the leading manufacturer of tray sealing machinery and tooling in the UK, but is recognised as a major force internationally, in several sites overseas.

Although its headquarters, design and manufacturing facilities are in Cheshire, Proseal has subsidiaries and production hubs in North America and Australia, known for providing an unrivalled quality of after-sales service. This worldwide presence is supported by a distribution network across Europe, Asia and South America.

Proseal became part of Chicago based JBT in June 2019, further strengthening its global reach.
